QUIN is an electronic DJ and artist based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, whose sound blends hypnotic rhythms with atmospheric soundscapes. Growing up surrounded by rugged ocean landscapes, powerful storms, and vast horizons, the contrast between isolation and raw natural energy became a central inspiration. Through immersive DJ sets, QUIN explores techno as a journey, building tension, depth, and movement through evolving textures and hypnotic grooves. Since 2018, QUIN has also been deeply involved in developing the underground electronic music community in her hometown, organizing techno events and previously operating a dedicated techno bar. These experiences reinforced a belief in the power of music to bring people together and create new paths for underground culture to grow. Looking forward, QUIN continues to develop immersive techno journeys inspired by landscape, atmosphere, and the transformative energy of collective musical experiences.
