G̱amksimoon (meaning "waterspout" or "sea tornado") is a fuzz-driven Ts'msyen rock project lead by Wil Uks Batsga G̱alaaw (Jeremy Pahl), hailing from the Gitga'at First Nation on BC's Northwest Coast. With lyrics sung entirely in the Sm'algya̱x language, the sound is raw, high energy, and intense, much like the weather phenomena the name is derived from. Blending old-school punk and doom riffing with pre-contact Ts'msyen vocal melodies and rhythms, the trio brings a raw, high-energy, head-banging performance to the stage that will surely leave your neck feeling sore the next day.
