Valmy is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who’s been following the ocean and making home on the East Coast. Exploring the complexities of relationship, loss, and healing, she uses her folk-influenced music to tell stories about loving and stumbling your way through the dark. Now based in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Valmy creates and performs from a place of honesty and wonder, weaving nature-inspired melodic swells and atmospheric harmonies with her contemplative writing. Valmy independently released her debut full-length album, ‘The In Between’, in September 2023 and concluded the year with MusicNL nominations for Rising Star and Folk/Roots Artist of the Year.
