Hailing from the underground, Destiny is committed to the notion that hearing unexpected sounds in strange places can be transformative. While in the mix she listens to her heart and loins, crafting moody, gestural sets that pit technical know-how against a mercurial whimsy. Raised on punk rock and free improvisation, her style encompasses a breadth of sounds in which ‘genre’ is but one of many instruments. She resides in Tiohtià:ke and plays regularly at local bars, raves and parties. She programs Time is 4 Clocks, a 2hr late night radio show on CKUT 90.3FM which airs every 2 weeks.
