Bridget Canning is a writer and a college instnictor. Her short fiction has made the short list for The Cuffer Prize and won awards with the BC Federation of Writers Liter, Writes competition and the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts and Letters. In September, 2015, the manuscript for her novel, Impulse received an Honourable Mention with the Atlantic Writing Competition. Her writing has been published in several Canadian literary journals including Riddle Fence and Sulphur (both upcoming). She was selected as one of the 2015 apprentices with the Writers Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Mentorship Program. She lives in St. Jolm’s with a loving boyfriend and an unpredictable cat.
